Two Australian job management apps with very different pricing models. Checked against ServiceM8’s own pricing and help pages.
ServiceM8 does not charge per user. Every paid plan includes unlimited staff, and the price is set by how many jobs you create each month. For a small crew doing under 150 jobs a month, ServiceM8 is cheaper than ZYNKTRA and a solid choice. ZYNKTRA makes more sense when your job count is high or swings month to month, when your clients need to approve work orders before you invoice, or when you service fleets and assets on a schedule.
ServiceM8 prices by jobs per month with unlimited users. ZYNKTRA Starter covers up to 10 users and 500 jobs without accounting sync; Professional is unlimited users and jobs with Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks sync. All prices AUD including GST.

ServiceM8 lets you keep working for 7 days after hitting your job limit before prompting an upgrade. The 20c-per-extra-job rate is published for Premium Plus. SMS beyond the plan allowance is 10c each on ServiceM8.

No. ServiceM8’s paid plans include unlimited users and are priced by the number of jobs you create each month, from $29 for 50 jobs to $349 for 1,500 jobs (AUD including GST, checked 15 September 2026). Its free plan is limited to one user.
Not for most small crews. Under about 500 jobs a month ServiceM8 costs the same or less. ZYNKTRA Professional is $400 a month for unlimited jobs and users, so it becomes the cheaper option above about 1,750 jobs a month, and it is a fixed bill regardless of volume.
Yes. You can import customers from a spreadsheet, and if you use Xero, ZYNKTRA can import your customers and parts directly from it with a review step before anything is saved.
